As every year, an important, exciting and fun part of the annual GALA conference is the Filmfest, featuring 60 second clips by GALA members. Voting takes place by all attendees during the conference, and the winner wins .... nothing ;-).
There were 10 entries this year, ours was one of those. And while we are totally convinced that our entry was by far the best and deserved to win, the outcome was slightly different and the Oscar went to someone else.
However, we want to make sure that our cinematic comparison of the differences between Memo Cutie and MT Jones (our Human and our Machine Translation) does not end up in the dark and damp archives of GALA film reels.
