Localization Project Manager (Multilingual / TMS / AI)

Remote Localization Project Manager role (contractor) focused on multilingual content delivery, TMS workflows, and client-facing execution.

What you’ll be doing

• Own end-to-end delivery of multilingual localization, DTP, and LQA projects

• Plan, quote, schedule, and execute projects across multiple languages and time zones

• Manage client relationships and lead project communications (email + calls)

• Oversee linguists and external teams, ensuring quality, clarity, and deadlines are met

• Track budgets, timelines, and risks — and solve issues before they escalate

• Own project data accuracy in JIRA, TMS, and internal tools

• Deliver regular status updates and contribute to QBRs

What you need

• 2–4 years of experience managing multilingual localization projects (required)

• Hands-on experience coordinating projects across multiple languages simultaneously

• Strong understanding of localization workflows, translation processes, and QA

• Fluent English + at least one additional language

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through without constant supervision

• Detail-oriented, structured, and accountable

Tech stack

• TMS/CAT: Phrase, Trados (or similar)

• PM tools: JIRA + internal PM systems (similar to Plunet)

• TM & terminology management

• Office Suite and Excel for tracking, budgeting, and reporting

Bonus points

• Experience with InDesign

• Experience with MT / AI-enhanced localization workflows

• Experience running QBRs or client reporting

Details

• Remote role aligned with US Pacific Time hours (8am–4pm PST)

• 35 to 40-hour work week on average
