Background: At an early age, I ventured in the study of languages and little by little I started discovering the magic of multiculturalism by traveling a lot, first with my family and later on by myself. I initiated my education in Tijuana, Mexico, and for two years I studied Hispanic Literature and Linguistics. In my spare time I wrote for local magazines and newspapers in Spanish. Life drove me to San Diego, where I started over with a Comparative Literature major. By accident, I stumbled upon with UCSD’s program for translation and interpretation, which put my love for languages in a whole different perspective. Since then, I’ve been preparing myself to be both the best translator and interpreter that I can be!
